The components of the Real Love in the Workplace Training are integrated,
so that using all of them will yield the maximum desirable effect.
It is possible, however, for Your organization to select only some
of the components.
1. PRE-VISIT ASSESSMENT
All employees and managers participating in the program will complete
a pre-visit evaluation, which will indicate the degree of communication,
collaboration, collegiality, job satisfaction, and teamwork that
exist in the organization. Surveys will be sent to participants by
snail mail. The identities of those who complete the evaluations,
and the results of the evaluations, will be confidential.
2. PRE-VISIT PERSONAL ASSESSMENT
Results of the pre-visit assessment are used to identify problems
and potential problem in communication, collaboration, collegiality,
job satisfaction, teamwork, and leadership that exist in the organization.
Dr. Baer, assisted by certified business coaches, will call and interview
a selection of those who completed the pre-visit assessment, to gather
more details and to get a more personal feel of the managers and
employees in your organization.
Purpose:
- Learn the goals
of the organization
- Learn the corporate
culture
- Get to know some
of the key personnel in the college management
- Determine which
personnel will be interviewed in the pre-seminar interviews of
management and employees during the site visit
3. PERSONAL INTERVIEWS OF MANAGEMENT AND
EMPLOYEES
At the beginning of the site visit, before the live seminars, Dr.
Baer will conduct these live interviews, assisted by business coaches.

culture and needs
- To assess specific
problems in the workplace
- To assess specific
problems with employees
4. MANAGEMENT SEMINAR
Dr. Baer will present the seminar to management and key employees,
at the discretion of your organization. For those managers who miss
the seminar, this material—and a great deal more—will
be covered in the online training described
in Item #7.
Purpose:
- Teach the basic
principles of Real Love (preferably based on pre-reading of the book Real
Love in the Workplace)
- Demonstrate how the
lack of Real Love—and resultant use of Imitation Love and Getting
and Protecting Behaviors—has a serious effect on productivity
and the bottom line in the company
- Demonstrate how an
understanding of Real Love can give managers a powerful tool in
developing human resources and in dealing with human resource problems
- Demonstrate
implementation of Real Love principles in evaluation of employees
- Demonstrate
implementation of Real Love principles in hiring of employees
- Demonstrate
implementation of Real Love principles in coaching of employees
- Give
management a head start in the implementation of this program with
employees
The seminar lasts a minimum of 1 day, with the optimal length being
2 days. The morning of the first day covers the basic principles
and core education of the program. The afternoon of the first day
and all of the 2nd day are devoted to questions and active participation.
Also, there will be considerable application of Real Love principles
to problems discovered during pre-seminar assessment. No details
will be used that might compromise the confidentiality of the participants.
5. EMPLOYEE SEMINAR
Following the management seminar Dr. Baer will present the seminar
to a sampling of employees from all departments. Enough employees
should attend this seminar to spread seeds of understanding throughout
the your staff. For those employees who miss the seminar, this material—and
a great deal more—will be covered in the online training described
in Item #7. The cost of the presentation is unaffected by projected
or actual attendance.
Purpose:
- Teach
the basic principles of Real Love
- Demonstrate how
the lack of Real Love—and resultant use of Imitation Love and
Getting and Protecting Behaviors—has a serious effect on:
- Productivity
- The
ability of employees to cooperate and communicate
- The
ability of employees to enjoy their jobs
- Demonstrate how
an understanding of Real Love can give employees a powerful tool
for increasing productivity, cooperation, and job satisfaction
- Hold
management accountable for the implementation of the Real Love
in the Workplace Program
The seminar lasts a minimum of 1 day, with the
optimal length being 2 days. The morning of the first day covers
the basic principles and core education of the program. The afternoon
of the first day and all of the 2nd day are devoted to questions
and active participation. Also, there will be considerable application
of Real Love principles
to problems discovered during pre-seminar assessment. No details
will be used that might compromise the confidentiality of the participants.
6. COUNSELING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING
After the completion of the live seminars, Dr. Baer will perform
one or all of the following services, at the discretion of your organization:
- Sharing
with upper level management all the findings from the seminars
and the pre-seminar interviews. This will help management see the
company’s
status in problem areas such as conflict, communication, lack of
leadership, and the like. Long-term solutions will be offered,
and long-term coaching plans will be established.
- Personal counseling
will be done with members of management who have questions about
the program or about problem employees or about their own personal
problems.
- Counseling with problem
employees, some with and some without the presence of management.
- Discussion
of problem issues at the college
The participants in the counseling and problem-solving will be decided
by management at your organization, but possibilities include management,
human resources personnel, and problem employees.
7. ONLINE TRAINING
In most organizations, it will not be possible for all management
and employees to attend the seminars described above under items
4 and 5. Understanding this, these seminars will be combined and
expanded and made available online.
The live seminars for management
and employees barely scratch the surface of the information required
to apply the principles of Real Love to all situations in the workplace.
The online experience will provide a great deal of additional instruction
designed to train great leaders in the workplace. Additional principles
will be taught, and real-life situations will be used to illustrate
them.
There will be a total of 60 lessons, each lasting from 10 to 20
minutes.
The complete training course will be taught on this website.
Participants will access the training videos with a login ID and
password. Your organization will purchase licenses equal to the number
of employees that will receive the training.
Each login and password will last for six months. During that time,
participants may view the classes as many times as they’d like.
8. ONLINE TRAINING AND SUPPORT PACKAGE
The online lessons are only a small component of the continuing
education program from Real Love in the Workplace. The comprehensive
training and support package provides participants with the core
workplace education in item 7, and also:
- Provides
employees who have been trained with live access to trained Workplace
Coaches who can answer their questions about workplace conflicts
and other problems.
- Provides
those who have been trained with a continuing education in Real
Love in the Workplace principles.
- Provides
those who have been trained with an opportunity to learn from
the successful experiences of other leaders and employees from
around the world who have applied the principles of Real Love
in the Workplace.
- Provides
those who have been trained with opportunities to ask questions
about problems that continue to arise in the workplace in multiple
venues.
Highlights of the training and support package:
Professional Coaching
Participants will have unlimited email access to workplace coaches
who have been personally trained by Dr. Baer.
The pricing of business coaching usually begins at $500
a month. As part of the online training and support package participants
have the opportunity to receive unlimited workplace advice from trained
business coaches—an enormously valuable benefit—at a
price any organization can afford.
Weekly Instruction – Live
A live webcast will be broadcast each week, presented by Dr. Baer
and selected workplace coaches. A wide variety of business subjects
will be covered, often based on questions emailed from members
live during the webcast.
Moderated bulletin boards
Members world-wide will have the opportunity to post their questions
and comments, thereby benefiting from the experiences and insights
of others who are applying these principles in sales, management,
quality assurance, and so on. These bulletin boards are moderated
by workplace coaches who provide direction and personalized answers.

As training participants discover the effectiveness of these principles
in the workplace they invariably discover that these principles apply
in other aspects of their lives—producing a healthier and more

9. POST-VISIT FOLLOW-UP
To ensure efficient implementation of the principles taught during
the on-site visit, Dr. Baer will follow-up and counsel with the management
personnel who are designated during the site visit. This might include
the CEO or head of HR or a selected group of upper-level management.
Follow-up will be conducted at the following intervals from time
of the site visit:
- One week
- Two weeks
- One month
- Two months
- Three months
- Four months
- Five months
- Six months
- Management will
also call as needed for questions
10. COACHING
After the site visit, thorough implementation of the principles
and change in the corporate culture will take place over a period
of months. Many questions will arise, and for this purpose, ongoing
personal coaching is highly recommended. All business coaches have
been personally trained and certified by Dr. Baer.
Those managers and employees chosen by Your Organization will being
coaching immediately after completion of the on-site training. Coaching
will last for approximately 4-6 months. During the determined period
of coaching each client has unlimited access to coach by phone and
email.
11. POST-TRAINING ASSESSMENT
Six to twelve months after the training, the participants in the
pre-visit assessment (item #1), will complete a follow-up evaluation
to indicate the degree of change in communication, collaboration,
collegiality, job satisfaction, and teamwork that have taken place
in the organization. The identities of those who complete the evaluations
will be confidential.
